About Us - Molecule Design

Molecule Design was founded by Adriana Siso in Santa Fe, New Mexico, originally established in 2002 as a contemporary design store focused on innovative industrial design, modern furnishings, and original objects for contemporary living.

With a background in Fine Arts and retail, Adriana has long been interested in the intersection of contemporary design, architecture, art, and everyday life, bringing to Santa Fe some of the most original and forward-thinking industrial design products from around the world.

Through Molecule Design and its “Art Meets Design” series, Adriana also supported the work of New Mexico contemporary artists, designers, and fabricators, creating an ongoing dialogue between contemporary art, design, and community.

In 2010, Molecule relocated to the Baca Railyard District into what became the first ISO Shipping Container commercial building in Santa Fe to house a contemporary design store. The innovative building quickly became a local landmark and a reflection of Molecule’s long-standing interest in sustainability, adaptive reuse, and experimental contemporary architecture.

Following the sale of the building in 2022, Molecule Design continues to evolve as a contemporary sourcing, procurement, and staging studio working across residential, hospitality, and transitional environments, while remaining connected to the design, architecture, and creative communities that shaped its beginnings.
